Martin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London in 1984 moving to consulting and corporate finance where he led the SW UK regional team as Partner to 2001. Martin has since held a portfolio of commercial, financial and Chief Executive director roles and has taken non-executive and executive chairman positions with private and VC owned businesses working closely with Board and owners to guide them through growth or turnaround strategy and implementation, acquisition, fundraising and exit transactions. Martin has extensive sector experience in manufacturing, technical related service businesses and in professional services. Martin is also a qualified Civil Engineer with practical experience of contracts and managing large multi million pound projects. Martin Joined Urban Movers senior management team at the beginning of 2009 and will add huge input and benefits to the company, reinforcing the effectiveness of the senior management team as UM moves into its next phase of global growth. |
