Rob Thompson: Director overseas Operations & Logistics |
Rob graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University in 1995 with a BA in History and Economics. He then worked in portfolio management in the City of London, first as an analyst covering the autos sector, then as a Hedge Fund manager investing insurance and unit trust funds. In 2000, he went to China for a year’s course to study Mandarin Chinese at Yunnan Normal University and then started sourcing electric vehicles and other products in China for the global export markets. He joined Urban Mover in 2004 Rob’s long experience of working on product development in Asia, combined with his fluent Chinese language skills, help ensure Urban Mover’s production facilities effectively meet the needs and demands of the company’s global customers and partners. |
