Urban
Mover's cutting edge UM36T was
reviewed on ‘The Gadget Show’ in the UK
during November 2006. The show’s – Jason
Bradbury took a critical look at the latest version
of the UM36T both in the studio and out on the road.
The UM36T utilizes a radical new torque sensing crank
option that calculates how much pressure the rider
puts onto the pedals and proportionately feeds the
same ratio of thrust to the rear wheel integrated
brushless hub motor. This cutting edge system not
only squeezes more range out of the lightweight Nickel
Metal Hydride battery, but also provides a much more
satisfying rider experience. This option is now available
on all four models in the world beating Urban Mover
bike range.
The UM36 was in the company of two other
conventional state of the art bicycles – namely
the Hummer® folding bike and the Whyte™
mountain bike which costs almost five times as much
as the UM36 – with no electric assist! A video
clip of this show segment is available on the UM36
product page and news and media page of the Urban
Mover website.
